Since switching from a career in forensic psychology in 2010, Lee has held numerous teaching and leadership roles across several LAs and MATs across East Yorkshire and Humberside – class teacher, phase leader, various subject coordinator responsibilities Assistant Headteacher, Vice Principal and Headteacher. Additionally, he has held trust/LA wide system leadership responsibilities including NQT/RQT Programme Coordinator, ITT Coordinator, writing moderator and SLE (assessment and curriculum).
In 2018, Lee completed his MSc Restorative Practices, and in 2020 Lee completed his NPQH – having completed his NPQSL in 2015. In August 2020, he commenced his MEd in Education Leadership and Management.
Lee is passionate about the impact relationship and culture have in driving school culture and community within and beyond the school gates – especially how school leaders can empower staff to drive a culture of change for all.
In 2019 Lee embarked on his first headship position at Howden Junior School, East Yorkshire.
